Skeptical and shocked winner has big plans out west
Shayla H. won $100,000 on her $5 Extra! Extra! Bonus Crossword Scratch ticket! Shayla is from the small community of Mack, CO, located just 10 miles east of the Colorado-Utah border. Shayla says she likes to play crossword and bingo Scratch games frequently but this is her biggest win ever.
When she scratched the ticket and thought she had won, she figured it must be a mistake and brought it back to the store to verify. She had to wait until after the Labor Day long weekend to claim and was still skeptical right up until the moment the Claims center staff took her winning photo! She says she is still in shock but has big plans for the winnings.
