Paul G. from Colorado Springs is celebrating his SECOND big 2nd Chance Drawing win, this time for $250,000 on the game Royal Crossword.
Paul has had THREE huge wins in the past 18 months adding up to $1 million. The first big one was an instant Scratch win on Thrilling Crossword for $250,000 back in March 2017, followed by a 2nd Chance win for $500,000 on August 14, and another 2nd Chance win for $250,000 on August 28.
“If you’re not playing 2nd Chance, you’re missing out,” said Paul. “It cuts your odds of winning the Top Prize by about half.”
He’s an admitted avid player, and even keeps a personal spreadsheet with information on new Scratch tickets, changes in game pulses, Top Prizes remaining, and other game information. His strategy sure has paid off, wouldn’t you say? We think he could be the “luckiest man in Colorado". Is it just a coincidence that Paul's amazing luck began after he married his wife Terri in 2016? Maybe she's his good luck charm!
Paul works in shipping and receiving at Schriever Air base and Terri works from home as a data analyst. The two have paid off their house and vehicles, and are planning a trip to Rome, Italy next spring and maybe a cruise to Aruba as well. They also gave each of their four grown children a nice chunk of the winnings.
Paul and Terri were joined by their granddaughter Lilly, and Paul's brother Dave in the Denver claims office Wednesday morning where the whole office celebrated with cake and balloons. When asked if he will keep playing Lottery games, Paul responded, "Of course!"
