One lucky player won the $5,727,684 Colorado Lotto+ jackpot! That's a cash value of $2,863,842. The winning numbers for the Wednesday, July 31 drawing were 2-3-8-9-13-19. The winning ticket was sold at Sundance Drug & Liquor at 16 Kearns Road in Snowmass Village. This retailer has been selling tickets since the Lottery began in 1983, and the owners just happened to be celebrating their 45th anniversary in business on the day the jackpot was won! This independent business will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Kurt P. of Indialantic, Fla. claimed his prize but declined to share any more information with us.
The luck continued with another jackpot win on the very next Colorado Lotto+ drawing. The Saturday, August 3, jackpot was $1,107,291 (cash value $553,645), and the winning numbers were 4-14-17-24-28-32. The winning ticket was sold at King Soopers at 13525 Quebec St. in Thornton. Max C. of Thornton came forward to claim his prize, but he didn’t share any more details about himself or his future plans for his big check.
