Ana D. from New Castle, $25,000 a year for life

19 year-old Ana D. from New Castle matched 5 numbers on a ticket she purchased in El Jebel for the August 1st drawing. SHE WON $25,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE!

Originally from the Grand Junction area, she waited weeks to claim her prize since she's been busy with medical school in Mexico. Ana and her uncle Jose drove 16 hours to our GJ office to claim her winnings. She bought the ticket at City Market after driving a friend to El Jebel. Ana knew the game was brand new (launched in Colorado just 2 weeks earlier!) and decided to give it a shot.

She doesn't have any immediate plans for the money, but she hopes to become a trauma surgeon, so we think the timing couldn't be better!
