Colorado has two new millionaires this week
Christmas in Colorado got a little merrier this year when a player won $2 million in the Christmas Day Powerball drawing! The lucky Christmas ticket was sold at Safeway at 2512 S. Broadway in Grand Junction. The winner has yet to claim, so everyone in Grand Junction better check their tickets! The ticket matched five numbers plus the Power Play (5, 12, 20, 24, and 29), just missing the Powerball of 4.
Powerball made another Coloradan a millionare this week -- Greg S. in Colorado Springs also won $2 million in the December 20 Powerball drawing!
The next Powerball drawing will take place on Wednesday, December 27, with an estimated jackpot of $685 million and a cash value of $344.7 million.
