Alan K. from Greeley has won $2 million playing Powerball. His winning Powerball Jackpot ticket was purchased at Loaf and Jug on 39th Avenue in Greeley.
Alan plans to use the money to retire early but plans to keep working until he can train his replacement at his company.
Alan’s not the only winner. The Loaf and Jug where the ticket was sold will receive a $3,000 selling bonus. And, Colorado’s parks and open space always win, as $.25 cents from every dollar spent goes back to the Lottery’s proceeds partners to fund parks and open spaces.
The next Powerball drawing will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, at 8:59 a.m. MT. Saturday's jackpot is expected to be $373 million.
