Brick and Tile Park in La Junta is the recipient of this year's Starburst Award which recognizes outstanding projects using Lottery funds.The park transformed an overrun 2.5-acre plot of land that now offers playgrounds and open areas for community activities. It also features educational elements with details about the local history and the flora and fauna in the city.
